01. Final piece
As part of Vans' collaborations with underground artists, this piece was created as social media content exploring a raw, grunge-inspired aesthetic through hand-drawn animation and irregular typography. The brief was to create a short, enganging 20 seconds long piece.
02. Frame by frame
It was important to represent all the details of the slip-on with the illustration. The rotation was hand-drawn frame by frame, with each position individually illustrated with Adobe Illustrator using a 3D render of the shoe for reference.
